Description
The Via Dinarica White Trail is a roughly 1,261 km long-distance route following the main line of the Dinaric Alps from Slovenia to Albania through Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro. It links karst mountains, limestone ridges, forests, and villages, with many sections far from services and settlements. A full traverse commonly takes around 45–60 days; waymarking and trail conditions vary, so independent navigation and careful resupply planning matter. The warmer months generally offer the best access to high sections, though hikers should check local weather and conditions for each country and segment.
