Description
The Transcaucasian Trail is a developing long-distance hiking route through the Caucasus, with a north–south corridor of about 1,519 km from northeastern Georgia to Armenia's southern border. It links mountain landscapes, villages, forests, volcanic highlands, and cultural sites, while some sections still require off-trail navigation. The trail association estimates that a Georgia–Armenia thru-hike takes roughly two to four months, and hikers should plan carefully for seasonal conditions, resupply, and changing trail infrastructure.
Trail Highlights
