Description
The Tour du Mont Blanc (TMB) is an iconic Alpine loop trek circling the Mont Blanc massif across three countries: France, Italy and Switzerland. Over ~170 km in 7–11 days, hikers cross many cols with significant cumulative ascent and descent, staying in mountain refuges with constant Mont Blanc views. No permit is required, but booking accommodation well ahead is essential in peak season. The TMB is regarded as one of Europe's best multi-day treks.
