Description
The Great Divide Trail is an approximately 1,130 km wilderness route linking Waterton Lakes National Park in the south with Kakwa Provincial Park in the north, across Alberta and British Columbia. Its seven sections follow the Continental Divide through national and provincial parks and remote parts of the Canadian Rockies. A full hike commonly takes about eight weeks; remote terrain, sections without clear trail markings, river crossings, and park camping permits call for careful planning and strong navigation skills.
Trail Highlights
Lintasan Pegunungan Rocky di sepanjang Continental Divide, melewati lima taman nasional, danau alpine, lintasan tinggi, dan kawasan hutan belantara yang terpencil.
