Description
The Berg Lake Trail follows a river valley past waterfalls and glacial lakes beneath Mount Robson in British Columbia. This report covers an approximately 44 km return hike from the trailhead to Robson Pass on the reconstructed route; turning around at Berg Lake Campground is shorter. Allow 3–5 days and extra time for optional side hikes, which are excluded from that distance. Older descriptions retain pre-reconstruction distances, so consult current maps and advisories. Treat drinking water, observe the campfire ban, and prepare for the absence of cell service.
