Description
The Arizona Trail is an approximately 800-mile long-distance route running north to south across Arizona, from the Mexican border to Utah. It links sharply contrasting landscapes, including the Sonoran Desert, isolated sky-island ranges, pine forests, the Grand Canyon, and the Colorado Plateau. A full thru-hike calls for careful water and logistics planning because some sections are remote and access requirements vary along the route.
