Description

The Affric Kintail Way links Drumnadrochit on Loch Ness with Morvich in Kintail over approximately 71 km of forest tracks and mountain paths. Its operator divides the route into four stages, making four days a planning baseline rather than a fixed requirement. Travelling west takes walkers through Glen Affric and the remote surroundings of Alltbeithe before the descent to Morvich. Carry provisions, a map, a compass and warm waterproof clothing, since mobile coverage is unreliable and weather can change quickly.
