One-legged Indonesian climber from Solo — first amputee to reach the Elbrus summit via the north route.
Sabar Gorky is a disabled climber from Solo, Indonesia, whose right leg was amputated after a train accident in 1996. With one leg he has climbed several of the world's high peaks — including Kilimanjaro (Africa), Elbrus (Russia), Aconcagua (Argentina), and Cartensz (Papua) — and is recorded as the first single-leg amputee to reach the Elbrus summit via the north route.
