Chilean alpinist and Guinness record holder — climbed Lhotse then Everest back-to-back without oxygen (2019); died on K2 during the first winter attempt, February 2021.

Juan Pablo Mohr Prieto (9 February 1987 – February 2021) was a Chilean high-altitude mountaineer. He became the first Chilean to summit Annapurna (2017) and set a Guinness record in 2019 by climbing Lhotse then Everest back-to-back without supplemental oxygen or Sherpa support, also summiting Dhaulagiri in similar style. He died on K2 in early February 2021 during the historic first attempt to climb the peak in winter.
