Wanadri climber; among the first Indonesians to summit Everest via the north (Tibet) route, on 19 May 2012.

Iwan Kwee Cheng Irawan is a member of Wanadri, the Bandung-based mountaineering association. On 19 May 2012, at 07:49 Nepal time, he reached the summit of Everest (8,848 m) via the north side from Tibet, followed minutes later by his partner Nurhuda — making them the first Indonesians to summit Everest by the north route. The climb was part of Wanadri's Indonesia Seven Summits Expedition.
