Hilaree Nelson (13 December 1972 – 26 September 2022) was an American mountaineer and ski mountaineer. On 25 May 2012 she became the first woman to summit two eight-thousanders — Everest and Lhotse — in a single 24-hour push. On 30 September 2018, together with Jim Morrison, she made the first ski descent of the "Dream Line", the Lhotse Couloir from the summit. She was named one of National Geographic's 2018 Adventurers of the Year.
