Sir Graeme Dingle (born 30 November 1945 in Gisborne) is a New Zealand adventurer and mountaineer. In 1968 he and Murray Jones became the first to climb all six great north faces of the Alps — including the Eiger and the Matterhorn — plus the Bonatti Pillar in a single season. He has recorded over 200 mountaineering and adventure firsts worldwide, among them the first traverse of the Himalaya (some 5,000 km in 265 days), a 28,000 km Arctic traverse, and the first winter traverse of New Zealand's Southern Alps in 100 days. With his wife he co-founded the Graeme Dingle Foundation, a youth development charity built around the outdoors.
