Basque Spanish mountaineer (born 1 August 1973), the first woman to summit all 14 eight-thousanders, completing the feat on 17 May 2010 with Shishapangma — nine years after her first eight-thousander (Everest, 2001). Known as 'The Queen of the Eight-Thousanders', she is now a motivational speaker and author.
