Perempuan pertama Nepal yang menjadi pemandu gunung bersertifikat internasional (IFMGA) dan, pada Oktober 2024, perempuan Nepal pertama yang menuntaskan seluruh 14 puncak 8.000 m.

Dawa Yangzum Sherpa is a Nepalese mountaineer who became the first woman from her country to earn international mountain-guide (IFMGA) certification. In October 2024 she became the first Nepalese woman to summit all 14 of the world's peaks above 8,000 metres. She is also active in training and encouraging Nepali women to enter mountain guiding.
