Chhurim (often written Chhurim Sherpa) is a Nepali mountaineer who became the first woman to climb Mount Everest twice in a single season. She reached the summit on 12 May and again on 19 May 2012, a feat verified by Guinness World Records in 2013. Inspired by Pasang Lhamu Sherpa, the first Nepali woman to summit Everest, Chhurim has become a role model for encouraging more Nepali women into mountaineering.
