Alex Txikon (born 12 December 1981 in Lemoa, Biscay) is a Basque-Spanish mountaineer who has climbed 11 of the 14 eight-thousanders. He is best known for the first winter ascent of Nanga Parbat in 2016 without supplemental oxygen, his winter Everest expeditions, and the first winter ascent of Manaslu in 2023.
