Description
Wewo Riwu is a low hill of about 352 m (GeoNames database figure; the Open-Meteo elevation model gives ~345 m) in Tadho village, Riung district, Ngada Regency, East Nusa Tenggara, on the northern coast of Flores island. "Wewo" is a local Riung-area term for the distinctively shaped coastal hills, a naming pattern shared with neighbouring peaks (e.g. "Wewo Ulungros"). Geographic databases describe it as sitting in a dry savanna climate surrounded by farmland, with a higher point (~603 m) about 1 km to the south-east. The Riung area itself is better known for the Seventeen Islands (Tujuh Belas Pulau) marine park. Documentation for the hill is very thin: the record derives from the NGA-GNS/GeoNames toponym database and Wikidata, with no documented climbing route, tourism, or field narrative — the elevation and climate figures are open-data estimates rather than field surveys.
