Description
Toubkal (4,167 m) is the highest mountain in North Africa, in Morocco's High Atlas within Toubkal National Park. The trek bases in Imlil, about 65 km from Marrakech. The most popular route takes 2 days: up to the Toubkal Refuge then a scree summit. It is non-technical but altitude-demanding; in winter the summit is snowy and needs alpine gear.

Jalur Standar via Imlil — Refuge du Toubkal (2 hari)
Sedang (fisik menuntut; lereng scree curam; ketinggian 4.167 m)The most popular route to Toubkal starts from Imlil village (1,740 m), about 90 minutes from Marrakech. Day 1: ascend the Mizane Valley through Armed village and the Sidi Chamharouch shrine (2,310 m) to Refuge du Toubkal (3,207 m) — about 4 hours. Night at the refuge (dormitory beds, hot food, toilets). Day 2: pre-dawn start (03:00–04:00) climbing the South Cwm via steep scree for 3–4 hours to the summit (4,167 m). Descend the same way to Imlil in 4–5 hours. Guides are required by Moroccan regulations.
