Description
Tor Sinora is a non-volcanic peak rising to 897 metres above sea level in North Sumatra Province, Indonesia. The prefix 'Tor' derives from the Batak language and means hill or high ground; it is widely applied to peaks throughout the Batak Highlands, particularly in the Tapanuli region encompassing North Tapanuli, Central Tapanuli, and surrounding areas. Peaks prefixed 'Tor' are generally forested non-volcanic hills scattered across the interior of North Sumatra, distinct from the active volcanic chain of the Barisan Mountains. Public information about Tor Sinora is very limited; no Wikipedia article or widely documented hiking reports have been found for this peak.
