Description
Tor Bululugo is a peak roughly 1,016 metres above sea level in North Sumatra Province, Indonesia. Its name comes from the Batak language, in which 'tor' means mountain or hill — consistent with neighbouring summits that also carry local Batak names such as Dolok Ginjang (1,525 m), the highest point nearby, about 4.7 km to the south-east. The surrounding terrain is hilly and almost entirely forested, with a low population density (around 31 people/km²). The climate is tropical, with an average temperature near 19 °C and high rainfall of roughly 3,200 mm per year. Tor Bululugo is a very poorly documented mountain: its data derives mainly from geographic-name databases (NGA GNS) and the SRTM elevation model, recorded in OpenStreetMap, Wikidata and Cebuano Wikipedia, with no independent hiking route or tourism coverage.
