Description
Tahtalı Dağı (2,366 m), known in antiquity as Olympus (Olympos) or 'Lycian Olympus', is a striking mountain near Kemer, a seaside resort on the Turkish Riviera in Antalya Province. It lies within the Beydağları Coastal National Park and rises dramatically straight from the edge of the Mediterranean, giving a large elevation gain from sea level to its summit. The top can be reached two very different ways: by the Olympos Aerial Tram (cable car), which lifts visitors from a base station to near the summit in minutes, or on foot along the Lycian Way, the famous long-distance trail that traverses the mountain. From the top, views sweep over the Antalya coastline, the pine forests of the Beydağları, and the blue sea below — an unusual sea-and-mountain combination.

Routes
Jalur Likia (Lycian Way) ke puncak — pendakian jalan kaki
Sedang–berat: tanjakan berkepanjangan lewat hutan pinus dan medan berbatu dengan naik ketinggian sangat besar dari pesisirThe Lycian Way, Turkey's famous long-distance trail, traverses Tahtalı Dağı and provides the on-foot route to the summit. Because the mountain rises almost straight from the Mediterranean, hikers face a large elevation gain over a sustained climb through pine forest and rocky terrain. The summit is often cloud-covered, so weather preparation matters. The route demands stamina though it is not technical climbing.

Sangat ringan: naik kereta gantung, cocok untuk semua pengunjungThe easiest and fastest way to the top of Tahtalı is the Olympos Aerial Tram (cable car), which carries visitors from a base station near Kemer to just below the summit in minutes. It suits travelers who want the sea-and-mountain panorama without hiking. From the top station, a short walk offers views over the Antalya coast and the Beydağları range.
SourceClimbing Experiences
Experiencing Tahtalı Dağı splits into two styles: riding the Olympos cable car, which lifts visitors from near the coast to just below the summit in minutes, or hiking up on foot along the long, climbing Lycian Way from sea level. Hikers' footage shows sustained ascents through pine forest and rocky terrain, with a summit often wrapped in thick cloud — some videos even capture 'nothing to be seen' moments at the top due to fog. The sea-and-mountain combination makes it one of Turkey's most iconic coastal ascents. All links below are verified live via YouTube oEmbed.
