Description
Sijongjongi is a non-volcanic peak rising to 1,826 metres above sea level in Toba Regency, North Sumatra Province, Indonesia. The mountain stands within the highland terrain surrounding Lake Toba — the world's largest volcanic caldera lake and cultural heartland of the Batak people. Toba Regency is characterised by steep forested hillsides and dramatic ridgelines forming part of the Barisan mountain range along the western spine of Sumatra. The summit lies near the settlements of Naga Timbul and Sibadihon. Public information about Sijongjongi is very limited; no Wikipedia article or widely documented hiking reports have been found for this peak.
