Description

Sepu Kangri is a 6,956 m mountain in Tibet, in the eastern Nyenchen Tanglha range. Its identity, elevation, and coordinates are recorded in Wikidata Q20191403. Carlos Buhler and Mark Newcomb reached the summit on 2 October 2002, as Buhler recounts first-hand in the American Alpine Journal. His account describes glacier travel on skis and poor weather during the descent. Visits to lakes at the mountain’s foot, presented in the video sources, are distinct from technical summit expeditions.
