Description
Saipal (7,031 m) is the highest peak in Bajhang district of Sudurpashchim Province, in the far north-west corner of Nepal. Together with Api and Nampa it forms a trio of sharp, ice-clad peaks rising from a long, steep snowy crest at the western end of the Nepalese Himalaya — one of the country's most remote and rarely visited mountain regions. As one of the Himalayan 'ultras' (high topographic prominence), Saipal sees very few climbing attempts and is more often the objective of an approach trek to its base camp (e.g. from Bajhang via Ranishain/East Saipal Base Camp, or from the Bajura side) than of a summit push. The surrounding Far-West Nepal is culturally rich and almost without tourist infrastructure, making any journey to its foot a self-supported expedition.

Routes
Pendakian puncak (ekspedisi mountaineering 7.000-an)
Ekspedisi Himalaya serius — es/salju curam, sangat jarang didakiAs a remote 7,031 m peak, Saipal is only occasionally attempted as a full summit climb. With Api and Nampa it forms a trio of sharp, ice-clad peaks rising from a long snowy crest; an ascent requires official permits, staged camps and command of high-altitude snow-and-ice technique, with difficult evacuation owing to the remoteness.
SourceTrek pendekatan ke Saipal Base Camp (Ranishain / East Saipal Base Camp, Bajhang–Bajura)
Trek terpencil menuntut (mandiri; tanpa teahouse) — bukan pendakian puncakThe most commonly travelled way to Saipal is not a summit climb but an approach trek to the eastern base camp (Ranishain / East Saipal Base Camp) from Bajhang or Bajura in Far-West Nepal. The route passes remote villages, forest and high pastures before reaching the foot of Saipal's icy face. Because the region has almost no tourist infrastructure, the trip is self-supported (camping, own logistics) and demands fitness and careful planning.
SourceClimbing Experiences
Saipal (7,031 m) — the highest peak of Bajhang in Far-West Nepal — is rarely climbed, but the approach trek to its base camp (Ranishain/East Saipal Base Camp from Bajhang, and the Bajura side) is increasingly documented by Nepali trekking vloggers. The videos below capture the route to the foot of the mountain, panoramas of the Api–Nampa–Saipal trio, and Far-West Nepal life — all verified live via YouTube oEmbed.
