Description
Pulau Kinabohutan (also spelled Kinabuhutan) is a small inhabited island off the northern Minahasa Peninsula, within Likupang District, North Minahasa Regency, North Sulawesi, and administratively part of Talise village. Its settlement is divided into three hamlets whose residents come from several ethnic groups, including Sangir, Bajo, and Minahasa. Kinabohutan lies within the Likupang island cluster alongside Gangga, Talise, and Lihaga — an area designated a national tourism Super-Priority Destination and known for snorkeling and diving on its coral reefs. As with many of the region's small islands, the elevation of its high point is not well documented.
