Description

Prisojnik, also called Prisank, is a non-volcanic 2,547 m summit in Slovenia’s Julian Alps. Its rock face is known for natural windows. Kopiščarjeva pot reaches the front window on a protected climbing route; a ridge still separates the window from the summit. Slovenska pot provides a descent across the southern slopes. MasterPlan’s trip report adds accounts of queues at narrow sections and running out of water on descent, highlighting the need to account for time on the route and water supplies.

The normal route on the southern slopes provides a descent after Kopiščarjeva pot. Some short sections remain exposed; Slotrips’ 2.5-hour estimate is for descent, not a round trip.

From Vršič, Kopiščarjeva pot crosses vertical sections and a narrow passage to the front window, then follows the ridge to the summit. Slotrips estimates 4 hours up and 2.5 hours down Slovenska pot; the 1,040 m ascent describes the circuit.
