Description

Petermann Peak (Petermann Bjerg, 2,970 m) is one of Greenland's highest mountains, located in King Christian X Land in Northeast Greenland within the Northeast Greenland National Park — the world's largest national park. It was long regarded as the highest point in the Arctic until modern surveys established Gunnbjørn Fjeld as higher. The surrounding region is entirely uninhabited, so climbing it is a remote glacier expedition with very limited access.
