Description
Pasir Kodot is a hill (small mountain) in West Java Province, Indonesia, about 140 km southeast of Jakarta. In Sundanese, “pasir” means hill. Its summit stands at roughly 664 m above sea level and rises about 39 m above the surrounding terrain, with a base roughly 1.1 km across. According to gazetteer data the surrounding land is generally hilly, becoming mountainous to the northeast. The nearest higher point is Gunung Tampomas (1,684 m), only about 4.4 km to the northeast, while the nearest larger town is Sumedang Utara, about 6.6 km to the south. The surroundings are dominated by farmland, with a monsoon climate averaging around 23 °C and high rainfall (~3,330 mm/year).
