Description
Osu Moteamowila is a small hill in Southeast Sulawesi province, Indonesia, lying about 8.8 km north of the city of Kendari. The word "osu" means hill or mountain in the Tolaki language of the region's indigenous people. Its summit reaches roughly 167 metres above sea level — only about 18 metres above the surrounding terrain — with a base some 0.5 km wide, a low rise in a landscape that is fairly flat to the north-west and hilly toward the south-east, not far from the sea. Documentation is very limited: the hill is indexed in geographic databases (GeoNames) and Wikidata, with no verified hiking route or tourism information, so the description here is confined to its location, elevation, and surrounding terrain.
