Description

Olat Batubatar is a hill on Sumbawa Island, West Nusa Tenggara province, Indonesia, at roughly 8.59°S 117.39°E — about 1,200 km east of Jakarta. The word "olat" means hill/mountain in the Sumbawa language, so the toponym is common across the island. According to digital-elevation-model (DEM) data compiled by GeoNames, its summit stands about 361 m above sea level with a topographic prominence of only ~20 m above the surrounding terrain. The land around it is hilly and almost entirely farmland; the nearest higher point is Olat Seli (about 701 m), some 2.2 km to the east. The nearest larger town is Sumbawa Besar, about 11.3 km to the north. Trail data and local records remain limited; this profile is compiled from open geographic databases.
