Description
Núi Chứa Chan (also called Núi Gia Ray or Núi Gia Lào; ~837 m) is an isolated mountain rising from the plains of Xuân Lộc in Đồng Nai, Vietnam — often cited as the second-highest point in the Nam Bộ region (southern Vietnam) after Núi Bà Đen. In 2012 Vietnam's Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism designated it a national-level scenic heritage site. The mountain combines pilgrimage and trekking appeal: on its slopes stands the Gia Lào Pagoda complex (Chùa Bửu Quang), busy with pilgrims and reachable by a cable car, while hikers follow trails to the summit — the most popular being the 'đường cột điện' (power-line trail), easy to follow because it tracks a line of numbered poles, and the shorter but steep, rocky 'đường chùa' (pagoda trail). From the top, hikers get views over the Đồng Nai plains and, on misty mornings, a chance to hunt for clouds. Its proximity to Ho Chi Minh City makes Núi Chứa Chan a popular weekend hiking destination in southeastern Vietnam.

Routes
Cáp treo (kereta gantung) ke Chùa Gia Lào
RinganA cable car for pilgrims and visitors who do not hike: it carries them to the Gia Lào Pagoda area (Thuyền Bát Nhã) on the mountain's slope while enjoying views over the Đồng Nai plains from above.
SourceĐường chùa (jalur pagoda) ke puncak
Berat (banyak tangga batu & tanjakan curam)A route that climbs through the Gia Lào Pagoda area (Bửu Quang Tự) with many stone steps and steep pitches. It is more tiring for beginners but passes the pilgrimage sites on the mountain's slopes.

SedangThe most popular and easy-to-follow route, tracking a line of numbered power-line poles — from about pole 20 up to pole 145 at the summit (~837 m). It gets steeper toward the top, but the risk of getting lost is small; favorite camping spots are around poles 135 and 144.
