Description
Naejangsan (내장산) is a 763 m mountain in South Korea, with Sinseonbong as its highest summit. It lies within Naejangsan National Park. The Naejangsa area provides access to valley, summit and ridge trails; a cable car also serves visitors. Autumn foliage is a major attraction, but the relatively low elevation does not make every trail easy. Hiking accounts describe loose rocks and steep paths that become slippery when wet.

Routes
Daegari → Sinseonbong
About 1.3 km one way to the summit according to Aurora. She started two hikes here but describes an isolated trailhead without public transport. Arrange vehicles and the return journey beforehand.
SourceJelajah delapan puncak / Eight-peak ridge traverse
Menantang / AdvancedAurora’s guide estimates 14–16 km for the eight-peak traverse. Rocky ridges and repeated elevation changes require experience; several exits descend to Naejangsa. Choose good weather.
SourceNaejangsa → Sinseonbong: pendakian lembah / valley ascent
Sedang–menantang / Moderate–demandingCasey and Don followed the forest trail to the Sinseonbong–Kkachibong fork, then climbed rocky ground to Sinseonbong. They reported loose rocks and slippery footing in rain. This is a 2014 account; their five-to-six-hour outing included a subsequent ridge traverse and is not a timing for this ascent alone.

This collection includes five Korean videos about Naejangsan hiking options and a guide based on Aurora Krom’s visits. Video summaries follow titles verified through oEmbed; terrain, timings and fees are not inferred from video metadata. The written guide helps distinguish summit options from ridge traverses.
