Description
Mount Brandon (952 m; Cnoc Bréanainn) rises on the Dingle Peninsula in County Kerry, Ireland. Wikidata confirms its mountain identity, elevation and coordinates. The western approach from Ballybrack follows the cross-marked Saint’s Route. From the east, the Faha approach passes glacial lakes and climbs a steep gully to the summit ridge; it runs below Faha Ridge rather than following that entire ridge. Walkers’ accounts emphasise changing mist and wind and a rocky descent that can take longer than expected.

Routes
Faha Route / Pilgrim’s Path via lembah dari Faha Grotto
Pendakian berat; alur curam dapat memerlukan bantuan tangan / Strenuous hike; steep gully may require handsFrom Faha Grotto near Cloghane, follow the path beneath Faha Ridge into the glacial valley. Pass a small tarn, climb the steep gully to the main ridge and turn left for the summit. Return the same way; HiiKER gives about 9 km in total. This is not a traverse along Faha Ridge. Consider cloud, wind and whether you can safely reverse the gully.

Pendekatan barat lebih landai; tetap terpapar cuaca / Gentler western approach; weather-exposedStart at the Ballybrack car park on the western side and follow the grassy, cross-marked path to the summit, returning the same way. Wikipedia lists about 8 km and 3–4 hours for this car-park approach. These figures do not describe the full Cosán na Naomh pilgrimage from Ventry.
SourceClimbing Experiences
These sources distinguish the western Saint’s Route from the eastern valley approach, the Faha Route. The latter is not the same as traversing Faha Ridge. All Around Ireland adds a family account of turning back before the summit as cloud arrived and daylight ran short; their outing took more than seven hours, including frequent stops and a slow descent.
