Description
Mbukid Ledun is a low coastal hill in Central Sulawesi province, Indonesia, on the northern arm of Sulawesi island, at roughly 1.156°N 121.371°E — about 1,800 km northeast of Jakarta. According to digital-elevation-model (DEM) data compiled by the GeoNames/NGA-GNS geographic database, its summit stands about 143 m above sea level. Although Wikidata tags it as a "mountain," the low elevation makes "hill" the more accurate description. The surrounding land is generally hilly but flattens toward the east; the nearest higher point rises to about 498 m and lies some 1.1 km to the north. The area is sparsely populated and close to the coastline, where small capes (peninsulas) are common. Its climate is tropical with a dry season: mean temperature about 23 °C (hottest September ~27 °C, coldest March ~21 °C) and annual rainfall around 2,150 mm (wettest January ~251 mm, driest September ~98 mm). No hiking trail, tourism coverage, or specific local record could be found for this hill; this profile is compiled from open geographic databases, and its data limitations are stated plainly.
