Description

Jebel Ayachi is a non-volcanic, 3,747 m mountain in Morocco’s Eastern High Atlas. Summit ascents differ from lower-slope walks: the Altituderando outing from Tattiouine reached only about 2,500 m. Oxygen Atlas approaches the summit through Iblilou and requires mountain experience. A CAF Casablanca account records a long summit day on which some participants turned around at a pass below the top.

From Jaffar the approach crosses Taqqat n-Ijimi and the Ijimi valley to Tizi n’Tirecht (3,140 m), then the Said Ou Adi ridge. The author places the highpoint Ichichi n’Boukhlib about 30 minutes northeast of that signed summit.
