Permits & Rules: Bebas. Untuk trek sirkuit multi-hari lazim memakai pemandu lokal dan bermalam di desa/kemah. Titik awal umum: Igherm dan desa Tagdicht(e).
Hazards: Panas dan kering dengan sumber air terbatas, keterpencilan (pertolongan jauh), medan berbatu yang melelahkan, serta kemungkinan salju/dingin di puncak pada musim dingin.

Description

Jbel Aklim (Adrar n'Aklim) is a peak of about 2,531 m in the Anti-Atlas, Souss-Massa region, Taroudant Province, Morocco — a prominent high point in the central part of this ancient range, near the villages of Ameskar and Timguedert and the small town of Igherm. Unlike the busy High Atlas, the Anti-Atlas offers a quieter, more desert-like experience: an old rock massif rising above fortified earthen villages (ksour/agadirs), terraced fields and oases. Aklim is usually climbed as a day summit from Tagdicht — about 3–4 hours up rocky ground with no technical difficulty — or woven into a multi-day circular trek from Igherm passing old copper mines, river valleys and the Tagmout oasis. From the top, the panorama spreads across the Anti-Atlas ridges and, on clear days, the snow-topped High Atlas far off. It is a destination for those seeking a mountain Morocco well away from the crowds.

The quickest way to the top. From the village of Tagdicht on the east side of the massif, the path climbs rocky ground for about 3–4 hours to the roughly 2,531 m summit with no technical difficulty. Suited to a day summit; the reward is a panorama of the Anti-Atlas and the distant High Atlas.
