Description

Gunung Tapak, also known as Bukit Tapak, stands in Bali’s Bedugul highlands. Tatkala trip accounts report an elevation of 1,909 m; Wikidata confirms its identity, country and coordinates but has no elevation statement. Forest trails lead to summit worship and pilgrimage sites. Trip accounts describe root-covered climbs, slippery ground and junctions that require attention. Start from the parking area toward Wanasari junction, then follow the Tapak branch past the former geothermal site. The forest trail climbs to the summit. The 2025 account identifies Tapak on the right and Pohen on the left; confirm signage on site.
