Description
Gunung Siwindu — known locally as Puncak Siwindu — is a hill in Erorejo village, Wadaslintang district, in the southern part of Wonosobo Regency, Central Java. It has emerged as a relatively new nature-tourism draw within the fledgling Erorejo tourism-village initiative: from its top, visitors can see the whole of the Wadaslintang Reservoir with Kumejing village appearing like an island in the middle of the water — a panorama locals often liken to Lake Toba. Together with the nearby Puncak Sibedug, Siwindu is a morning-walk destination for sunrise views and for watching fishermen at work on the reservoir. Technical data on the hill remains very limited: its exact elevation is not documented in reliable sources and there is no formal climbing trail — visits are light viewpoint tourism rather than a serious mountain climb.
