Gunung Runcing is a non-volcanic peak in Jambi Province, Sumatra, Indonesia, at around 1°45'S, 101°38'E, with an elevation of approximately 1,275 metres according to Wikidata (other sources cite up to 1,835 m — definitive figures should be confirmed from official topographic maps). The name "Runcing" means "pointed" or "sharp" in Indonesian, describing the peak's distinctive topographic form.
