Description
Gunung Pohen is a dormant stratovolcano rising to approximately 2,063–2,089 metres in the Bedugul highland, Tabanan Regency, Bali, ranking as the island's fifth-highest peak. The out-and-back trail is about 2.9 km, takes 2–2.5 hours, and is marked by red paint on tree trunks, though the path is steep and slippery when wet, making gloves and long socks advisable against leeches. On a clear day, the summit offers views of Lake Beratan, Gunung Tapak, and Gunung Catur below. Camping at the summit is not permitted.
