Description

Gunung Pegasingan, better known as Bukit Pergasingan, is a hill in Sembalun, East Lombok, overlooking farmland and Mount Rinjani. The listed elevation of 1,670 m follows Indonesian Wikipedia; the OpenStreetMap node records 1,793 m, so published elevations differ. Coordinates follow the Gunung Pegasingan OpenStreetMap node. The ascent from Sembalun climbs steeply to a ridge also used for camping. Hikers report that this short trail can still be physically demanding, particularly on the descent or in wet conditions.
