Description
Gunung Paninjauan (approx. 2,520 m) is a Bukit Barisan mountain range peak in Pesisir Selatan Regency, West Sumatra, Indonesia. It stands geographically adjacent to Gunung Rasam within the dense forests near the Kerinci Seblat National Park. The name derives from the Indonesian word 'paninjauan', meaning viewpoint or lookout. As a remote summit within the pristine rainforest ecosystem of southwestern Sumatra, publicly documented hiking trails and tourism information for this peak remain very limited.
