Description
Gunung Merenjak is a minor hill/mountain in Entikong District, Sanggau Regency, West Kalimantan Province, Indonesia, in interior Borneo a few kilometres from the Sarawak (Malaysia) border, at roughly 1°02′N 110°15′E. GeoNames (1635367) and its derived Cebuano Wikipedia article list an elevation of about 739 m (SRTM-based), with only about 34 m of local relief above the surrounding terrain; a check against the open Open-Meteo digital elevation model at the same point returns about 688 m, so the exact elevation cannot be confirmed — both are DEM estimates and no surveyed figure exists. The surrounding area is hilly and tropical-forested; Borneo is geologically non-volcanic terrain. The point is recorded in OpenStreetMap as natural=peak (sourced from the NGA-GNS gazetteer) and has an entry in Wikidata (Q24872592). Beyond its position, approximate elevation, and classification as a mountain, Gunung Merenjak has virtually no verified climbing, trail, Indonesian-Wikipedia, or dedicated-photo documentation; this profile is deliberately limited to referenceable geographic facts.
