Description
Gunung Gedang Seblat is a roughly 2,446-metre mountain on the border between Bengkulu and Jambi provinces, in the Bukit Barisan range. Location records place its summit around Pinang Belapis District, Lebong Regency, Bengkulu, at about 2.74°S, 101.92°E. The name "Seblat" refers to the Seblat River area on Sumatra's western side. It is classed as a non-volcanic mountain. Indonesian Wikipedia records it as a Bengkulu–Jambi border peak, but its documentation is still very brief; climbing routes, history and ecology remain unverified from open sources. This page presents what can be confirmed — location, elevation and mountain type — while honestly flagging how limited the sources are.
