Description

Gunung Batu Kucing (known locally as Bukit Batu Kucing) is a low hill in Galis district, Bangkalan Regency, on Madura Island, East Java, near Desa Tlagah. It has become a modest local scenic and light-trekking spot offering views over the Bangkalan hill country. Public documentation of the hill is very thin: its elevation is not recorded in official sources, and there is no verified trail description or geological data — the available information so far comes from map data (OpenStreetMap) and visitor video. It should not be confused with the similarly named 'Batu Kucing' in Sembalun, Lombok, which is an entirely different place.
