Description

Argowayang is a peak in the western Anjasmoro mountains of East Java. Wikidata confirms its identity and coordinates but has no elevation claim; the 2,197 m figure follows Gunung Bagging and ITN Malang, while Indonesian Wikipedia lists 2,162 m. Historical ascents from Ngebrong and a HIMAKPA conservation expedition are documented. The tourism label “via Argowayang” in Galengdowo also describes trips to Tapak Bunder, a different destination. Access status must be checked separately from these trip histories.
