Description

Gran Zebrù, also called Königspitze, is a non-volcanic Italian summit of 3,851 m in the Ortler-Cevedale group. Wikidata confirms its identity, elevation, coordinates and summit photograph. The normal route from Rifugio Pizzini approaches from the south and gains the southeast ridge; it is distinct from the north face. A CAI Malnate ascent report highlights the narrow gully and exposure near the summit. Timing should follow snow and ice conditions rather than assume that the whole summer is suitable.

Routes

Cresta Suldengrat (punggungan barat laut)

The northwest ridge is a mixed alpine alternative, distinguished from the normal route and north face in the source. This overview is not a complete technical description; use a dedicated topo and current conditions information.

Alpine AD− menurut SummitPost; bergantung kondisi

From Pizzini, approach the glacier and Collo di Bottiglia gully, then climb the shoulder to the summit ridge. Descend the same way. Steep snow or ice and rockfall require mountaineering skills; this is not the north-face route.

Climbing Experiences

Four videos about the normal route or ski mountaineering are complemented by two first-hand ascent reports. The 2007 and 2014 accounts add context on snowstorms, visibility and rockfall in the gully; both are historical experiences rather than current conditions reports.
