Description
El Misti (5,822 m) is an iconic stratovolcano in southern Peru dominating the Arequipa skyline. Last erupting in 1985, it is one of the most-climbed 5,000 m peaks in South America — the normal route is non-technical, requiring no crampons or ropes.
