Routes

Rute Normal via Monte Blanco

Sedang
+2322 m 2 hari

Rute Senderistas (Jalur Cepat)

Berat
+2300 m 1 hari

Climbing Experiences

El Misti (5,822 m) is a non-technical stratovolcano above Arequipa that can be reached without crampons — making it one of the most popular 5,000 m peaks in South America. The standard ascent spans 2 days: overnight at Monte Blanco camp (~4,600 m) then a pre-dawn summit push through scree and volcanic ash. Climbers highlight the grueling sandy slope, altitude, the active summit crater, and panoramic views of Arequipa below.
