Description

Doro Huni is a peak or hill in Dompu Regency, West Nusa Tenggara Province, in the central part of Sumbawa Island. It lies in Manggelewa District, near the village of Banggo. In the Bima language (Nggahi Mbojo) spoken by the Mbojo people here, the word "doro" means mountain or hill — a common naming pattern in eastern Sumbawa (compare Doro Ncanga, Doro Bata). Its elevation is about 480 m according to open-map databases (OpenStreetMap/Mapcarta), an estimate derived from an elevation model rather than an official survey. Dompu Regency borders Saleh Bay to the west and Bima Regency to the north and east. To date there is no documented climbing route, historical record, or tourism information specifically verified for this hill; data is limited and comes mainly from mapping databases. This profile will be updated if more complete verified sources become available.
