Description
Dolok Nauagan is a non-volcanic peak reaching 390 metres above sea level in Central Tapanuli Regency, North Sumatra Province, Indonesia, approximately 73 kilometres from the town of Sorkam. The prefix 'Dolok' comes from the Batak language — particularly the Toba Batak dialect — meaning mountain or hill; the term is widely applied to summits across the Batak Highlands of North Sumatra. Central Tapanuli Regency borders the Indian Ocean to the west and the interior highland ranges to the east. Public information about Dolok Nauagan is very limited; no Wikipedia article or widely documented hiking reports have been found for this peak.
